Insurance Policy

Many clients choose to use their health insurance benefits to pay for their therapy services. I am in-network with the following insurance carriers:

  • Blue Cross/Blue Shield

  • Blue Care Network

  • Medicaid (Traditional or McLaren)

If you choose to use your health insurance benefits to pay for therapy services, you will be responsible for any deductibles, copayments, and/or coinsurance costs. It is strongly recommended that you check with your insurance carrier if you have any questions or concerns regarding coverage for therapy services.

If you have out-of-network benefits, I am able to provide documentation to submit to your insurance carrier to receive reimbursement. Please note that if you are using out-of-network benefits, self-pay rates will apply for your therapy services. I can not guarantee out-of-network reimbursement, as this depends on the policy of your insurance carrier and plan.

Please note that I am required to submit some of your diagnostic and treatment information to your insurance carrier to receive reimbursement for your therapy services. If you wish to bypass this, you may elect to not use your health insurance benefits; self-pay rates will apply in this case.

If your insurance carrier is not listed, I do not accept it at this time, and self-pay rates will apply. Self-pay rates are detailed below.

Self-Pay Policy

Some clients choose not to use their health insurance benefits to pay for therapy services, even if I am in-network with their insurance carrier. This is typically to ensure an added layer of confidentiality and protection of their mental health record, as I am required to submit diagnostic and treatment information if a client uses their health insurance benefits to pay for therapy services.
